Andrew Haskett started his career in radio as a DJ and talk show host (in sunny tropical Australia). Later he became Promotions Director at Radio 4RO in Rockhampton, Queensland and took over the afternoon drive-time talk show. He left Australia for a job in Texas radio in 1970. In 1973, he turned his professional attention to his "other" love--history and was assigned by the U.S. Air Force as a military historian to bases in the U.S. and Canada. He joined the TCU Library staff in 1980 and later the RTVF department. In his spare time he is a freelance audio production specialist and teaches seminars in television production. Currently, he is station manager for campus radio station KTCU and teaches classes in audio production and management as well as an MLA class in the history of British comedy. He has a BS in Industrial Technology from Texas A&M, Commerce and a Master's Degree in Radio-TV-Film from TCU. His post Masters work is at the University of North Texas.
